Application due date: May 24, 2024

The Aerospace Academy is a special summer academic experience held from July 8 to July 18, 2024. The event will run from 8:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. (Pacific Daylight Time) every Monday through Thursday. The purpose of the academy is to expose students to the possibilities of becoming science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) professionals in the future by directly immersing themselves in the aerospace industry and culture that The Aerospace Corporation provides.

Participants will complete activities and solve educational prompts that relate to real-world technical problems. In this virtual two-week program, participants will gain an understanding of ground systems and interactions between the space and ground segments through lessons presented by Aerospace employees. Participants will work independently and in teams, alongside Aerospace interns, to complete a hands-on activity and final project demonstrating their knowledge. Selection is based on academic performance, community service, and leadership potential.
